And I thought I was from a small town

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Reuters) - A volcano in Alaska's Aleutian chain erupted on Saturday, sending a cloud of ash 35,000 feet into the air and prompting the evacuation of the 10 people who live on the eastern side of the island, officials said.

Wow, that's tiny. (At first I was confused because I thought you were saying Anchorage was tiny, but it made more sense when I realized they were talking about some island.)

All the tourists I have talked to up here in Alaska are pretty paranoid about the volcano, but it's 1200 miles from Anchorage. Those ten people are just about the only people within 500 miles of that volcano...
